Owners’ meetings may continue to be held except in those localities with a grade 2 at level 4.

Following the publication of the BOJA Extraordinary No. 6, it is decreed the prohibition of holding meetings of owners’ meetings in municipalities that are in alert level 4, grade 2. In addition, the Junta de Andalucía has established other new measures against the coronavirus, which have been in force since January 17, such as the perimeter closure of all municipalities with an incidence of more than 500 cases per 100,000 inhabitants. The Association of Property Administrators of Malaga and Melilla recommends consulting the website www.mapacovid.es on a daily basis to find out the restrictions in force in each locality.

As of January 18, in the municipalities of Alhaurín el Grande, Ardales, Coín, Monda, Alameda, Almargen, Teba, Alfarnatejo, Benamocarra, El Borge, Salares, Algatocín, Cartajima and Igualeja will not be able to holdowners’ meetings. In those locations where this is permitted, meetings must be held within the 40% capacity of the space where the meeting is to be held. It will also be necessary to maintain the interpersonal distance of 1.5 meters and that there be a maximum of 100 people in enclosed spaces and 200 in open spaces.

As for social gatherings, the new limit is 4 people. For the time being, the curfew is from 22:00 to 06:00 hours. The Junta de Andalucía has asked the Government of Spain to bring it forward to 20:00 hours. In case the Government authorizes it, the Junta de Andalucía will set it at 8:00 pm. In addition, stores and hotels and restaurants must close at 18:00 hours. In the event that the cumulative incidence exceeds 1,000 cases per 100,000 population, all non-core activities will be completely closed.
